In todays day we no longer just "feed the dog" or "put out the cat" these animals have become true members of our families. Our GREEN Side
With today’s concerns about the environment and more companies going “green” let’s show you some of the ways our product contributes to the green movement and saves you money!
Our beds never have to go through a washing machine or dryer; this saves on water and power usages. * The average washer uses 500W and 35-40 gal of water per load, plus the cost of heating all that water. In addition of the power used to run the actual machine, you also pay sewage for every load. Drying is another story; the average residential machine uses 5000W. The less power/water and gas we use as a whole, the less greenhouse gases that are released from the plants that produce these resources. Instead of having to run a full wash/dry load to clean up Fido’s bed....just remove the cover, wipe the bed with a wet cloth, then simply add the small cloth cover to an existing wash load.
The production and delivery of raw materials to manufacture replacement pet beds plus distribution nationwide is just one more thing that effects our environment. Knowing this, having a bed that lasts much longer than most commercially available dog beds (and made locally) means less trucking and waste going into local landfills. My own Cozy Joz Pet beds have seen about 150lbs of dog over 5 years are still bacterial & odor free and ready for another 100lbs of canine companion with many more years of cozy comfort.
